The purpose of the ITC's Chemicals Public Information Access Page is to provide information to the public on chemicals that the ITC has considered for testing or information reporting. Most of the chemicals reviewed by the ITC have not been added to the TSCA Section 4(e) Priority Testing List and recommended for testing in Reports to the U.S. EPA Administrator. One reason that the ITC does not add certain chemicals to the Priority Testing List is because information received in response to a solicitation was sufficiently complete to allow the ITC to make testing or information reporting decisions. The ITC encourages the producers, importers and users of chemicals under review by the ITC to actively respond to information solicitations by sending information to the ITC Director, Dr. John D. Walker (see sidebar).
